Experience TAFNEX™: Diverse Use Cases on Display
Featured in the “Sustainable polymer solutions” area, two injection-molded TAFNEX™ samples are on display inside the area’s showcase. One is a section of the front trunk (frunk) of an electric car which is locally reinforced with TAFNEX™ UD Tape. The other is a TAFNEX™ tube overmolded with recycled TAFNEX™ compound, demonstrating both the material’s reusability and the possibility of tube functionalization through robotized injection molding.
After its appearance at DroneX in London, the full TAFNEX™ drone demonstrator is now on display at the K 2025. It can be found inside the highlight cube at the center of the booth.
Beyond the Mitsui Chemicals booth, a drill bit demonstrator made from TAFNEX™ UD Tape —developed as part of the publicly funded WI-IN research initiative — is showcased at the joint booth of the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden and ANYBRID GmbH (Hall 7, Booth SC07).
Interested in seeing these innovations in person? Visit Booth D18 in Hall 7a, where a TAFNEX™ expert will be available to answer your questions.
